When you're buying sealed Pokémon, the two formats people agonise over are the **booster box** and the **Elite Trainer Box (ETB)**. They look similar on a shelf but serve very different jobs. ## The per-pack maths A booster box gives you the lowest price *per pack* — it's the bulk format. An ETB costs less up front but includes fewer packs alongside accessories (sleeves, dice, a player's guide).
