About
About the set
Lost Origin is a Pokémon TCG expansion from the Sword & Shield era, released on 9 September 2022. It brought back the Lost Zone mechanic, last seen in the Sun & Moon expansion Cosmic Eclipse. Cards that use it are easy to spot thanks to a shadowy aura of purple, pink and turquoise wisps around the Pokémon.
Giratina is the set's headline Pokémon, appearing as both Giratina V and Giratina VSTAR, and the alternate-art Giratina V is among the most sought-after cards. Other VSTAR cards include Magnezone VSTAR, Aerodactyl VSTAR, Drapion VSTAR, Hisuian Goodra VSTAR and Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR, while Radiant Gardevoir, Radiant Steelix and Radiant Hisuian Sneasler are the set's three Radiant cards.
Like other late Sword & Shield sets, Lost Origin includes a 30-card Trainer Gallery subset (TG01–TG30) showing Pokémon alongside a Trainer. Highlights include Pikachu VMAX, Mew VMAX and Charizard.
Lost Origin is available as booster packs, booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, the Build & Battle Box and Build & Battle Stadium, blisters, booster bundles and a mini portfolio with a booster pack. Cardheist lets you compare what online shops charge for the set's sealed products in one place.
