About the set

Destined Rivals is the tenth expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon TCG, released on 30 May 2025. Team Rocket takes centre stage: 83 cards in the set relate to the villainous organisation, including more than 45 Team Rocket's Pokémon. Standing against them are Trainer's Pokémon belonging to Cynthia, Ethan, Misty, Arven, Marnie and Steven, among others.

The chase cards are the Special Illustration Rare versions of Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, Cynthia's Garchomp ex, Ethan's Ho-Oh ex, Team Rocket's Moltres ex and Team Rocket's Crobat ex. Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex, Cynthia's Garchomp ex and Ethan's Ho-Oh ex are also available as gold Hyper Rares.

With 244 cards, Destined Rivals is a large set. Team Rocket's leadership gets its own Supporter cards – Team Rocket's Giovanni, Archer, Ariana, Petrel and Proton – all of which have Full Art versions, with Giovanni and Ariana also appearing as Special Illustration Rares.

Destined Rivals is available as booster packs, blisters, a Booster Bundle, 36-pack booster displays, a Build & Battle Kit and an Elite Trainer Box, including the Pokémon Center edition. On Cardheist you can see what different online shops charge for each product, side by side.
