About

About the set

Chaos Rising is the fourth expansion in the Mega Evolution series of the Pokémon TCG, released on 22 May 2026. It carries on the Pokémon Legends: Z-A theme and once again puts Mega Evolution Pokémon ex front and centre: Mega Floette ex brings turmoil to the streets, while Mega Greninja ex gathers other Mega Evolution Pokémon ex to put a stop to it.

The most sought-after pulls include the Special Illustration Rare versions of Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Dragalge ex and Cinccino ex. At the very top sits the Mega Hyper Rare Mega Greninja ex. The other Mega Evolution cards in the set are Mega Pyroar ex and Mega Gallade ex.

At 122 cards, Chaos Rising is a fairly compact set, with a large share made up of secret rares. The Illustration Rares feature Kalos Pokémon such as Chespin, Froakie, Frogadier and Xerneas, while Trainer cards such as AZ's Tranquility and Roxie's Performance also appear as Special Illustration Rares.

Chaos Rising is available as booster packs, blisters, a Booster Bundle, 36-pack booster displays, a Build & Battle Kit, an Elite Trainer Box (including a Pokémon Center edition) and the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection.
