Marvel Super Heroes

About

About the set

Marvel Super Heroes is the second Marvel set for Magic: The Gathering, following Marvel's Spider-Man, and was released on 26 June 2026. It brings together heroes and villains from across the Marvel universe and is legal in Standard, Pioneer and Modern. The new power-up mechanic lets characters unleash their abilities once, while teamwork gives instants and sorceries an extra effect when you tap creatures with enough total power.

Headline cards include Thanos, the Mad Titan, Doctor Doom, Captain America, Super-Soldier, Thor, God of Thunder and Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor. Several heroes are double-faced cards, such as Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man, Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk and King T'Challa // Black Panther, Hope Enduring. The Infinity Stone The Mind Stone comes in three different versions.

The set is packed with special treatments: Classic Comic cards with Marvel comic art, Source Material cards – borderless reprints illustrated by Marvel artists – and Scene cards, where several cards combine into one larger image. There are four Commander decks – Avengers Assemble, Wakanda Forever, The Fantastic Four and Doom Prevails – each also available as a Collector's Edition in surge foil.

Marvel Super Heroes is available as Play Booster packs and displays, Collector Booster packs and displays, Jumpstart Boosters, a Beginner Box, a Bundle, a Gift Bundle and Commander decks.
